I began using NetLogo in 2009 when I wanted to include agent based models in my course on GIS modelling at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.  NetLogo is surprisingly simple, complex and addicting to turn concepts into models you can share with others.  A strength is sharing NetLogo models online through NetLogo Commons or as NetLogo Web html pages.  Here are links to some of my models as NetLogo Web files....   Note that NetLogo Web models are not as fast and responsive as the software environment.  You'll want to be patient to view these and don't be afraid to save them and run them offline.
