The Cascades Conservation Partnership required an atlas of the most promising parcels to create a wildlife corridor between Mount Rainier National Park with the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area.  I designed an assessment protocol to identify the most valuable location characteristics and ownership information. The map on the left shows the 'checkerboard' area the Partnership was working with the insure an ownership and management approach conducive to wildlife movement.  Maps on the right are from a fourteen page high resolution atlas of the area that was printed on oversize paper (ANSI B 11x17).  It was frequently used to guide hikers and sponsors to visit the parcels being acquired by the Partnership.Click here to open an Acrobat PFD file of the entire atlas.
